Great for projects that need extremely bright light in a wide angle!

5 mm Piranha LEDs, also called Super Flux LEDs, are among the brightest LEDs in this size. They produce a wide-angle light beam due to the large lens. Using the 5 mm Piranha LED gives excellent results and offers a unique lighting approach.

This is a square LED with 4 pins, making it robust to mount on PCBs and breadboards. For this reason, Piranha LEDs are often used in car taillights because they are highly resistant to vibrations or heavy shocks. They are therefore stable under all environmental conditions.
