SMD 1W High Power LED - Cool White

These High Power LEDs are extremely suitable for spot lighting and require a voltage between 3.0 and 3.5V, with a nominal value of 3.3V.

The LED is provided with a silicone layer and surrounded by white plastic. They are mounted on a metal base that functions as a heat sink plate.

Two metal arms protrude from the plastic construction, establishing the connection.

Due to the considerable heat production, these LEDs must be cooled. A suitable heatsink/cooling block is the OT8526, onto which the LEDs can be soldered.

To cool the LEDs as efficiently as possible, it is advisable to place them as close as possible to the cooling block, so that the center of the LED also comes into contact with the cooling block. The positive and negative connections are indicated on the cooling block (the LED itself indicates where the negative/ground is).

In addition to the soldering points of the LED, wires can also be soldered. The dimensions of the LED are 20 mm in diameter and 1.3 mm thick.
