ESP-01 ESP8266 module

This module gives you the opportunity to connect your Arduino to WiFi at a very low price.

The ESP8266 module works with the standard UART port on your Arduino and can connect to networks, create its own network (hot-spot), or both. The possibilities with this module are endless!

The ESP01 combines a small size with standard 2.54mm headers. On the other hand, there are only 2 GPIO pins available, along with the serial RX and TX pins. The module is, for example, often used as a serial WiFi/internet bridge between two microcontrollers. All WiFi and TCP/IP functionality is already built in. The original blue ESP-01 modules had 512KB memory, the newer black modules – also known as ESP01S – have 1MB memory.
