Mecanum Wheel / Omnidirectional Wheel - 80MM-A Red - set of 2 wheels (1xL+1xR)

Mecanum multidirectional wheels with a diameter of 80 mm.

This allows vehicles to move in any direction - straight, diagonal, horizontal, slalom in an S-shape. With these wheels, a project can also rotate at any angle while maintaining a zero turning radius.

Each wheel consists of 9 rollers made of plastic and covered with a protective layer of silicone rubber. The wheels are based on hexagonal, omnidirectional drive technology, allowing users to control the robot even in extremely tight spaces. Set includes 2 wheels - 1 right and 1 left.

We offer wheels in 60 mm and 80 mm in 4 colors. We sell this size in sets of 2 wheels (1 with rollers to the left, and 1 with rollers to the right).

They can be mounted on TT motors

The Mecanum Wheel is a special type of wheel that makes it possible to move in any direction. Sometimes it is called the Ilon Wheel, after the inventor Bengt Erland Ilon (an employee of the Swedish company Mecanum AB). This is not a new invention - the first US patent was filed in 1972.

To mount these wheels to a TT motor the OT3578 coupling is required.
