USB to TTL RS232 Dupont Female PL2303 COM Serial Cable

PL2303TA offers a convenient solution for connecting an RS232-like full-duplex asynchronous serial device. PL2303TA drivers can simulate the traditional COM port on most operating systems, making it possible for existing applications to be easily connected with USB connectivity without writing a COM port.

This is a newly designed product that uses the PL2303TA chip produced in Taiwan. PL2303TA offers a convenient solution for connecting an RS232-like full-duplex asynchronous serial device to any USB host (Universal Serial Bus). PL2303TA is perfectly compatible with the Win XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 system / Windows 10 and can simulate most operating systems. This allows existing COM port-based applications to be easily ported and USB connectivity to be used without rewriting COM port software to apply traditional COM ports.

By using the USB batch transmission mode, large data buffer, and automatic flow control, the PL2303TA can achieve higher throughput. Compared to traditional UART, it does not require a real RS232 signal (universal asynchronous transceiver). The flexible baud rate generator of the PL2303TA can be programmed to generate any speed between 75 BPS and 6 million bps.

The PL2303TA is designed for use in mobile and embedded solutions and is easy to adapt to any connector and any handheld device. With very low power consumption in use or sleep mode, the PL2303TA is the perfect power supply for the connected device bus.
