This step up module is stabilized. For example, if you use a 3.7V Lithium battery as input, the battery will give approximately 4.2V of voltage when full and approximately 3.0V when empty. If you have set the output voltage to, for example, 12V, then regardless of the status of the battery, a 12V stabilized output voltage will always be given.
