This step-up module is stabilized. For example, if you use a 3.7V Lithium battery as input, the battery will provide about 4.2V when full and about 3.0V when empty. If you have set the output voltage to, for example, 12V, it will always provide a stabilized 12V output voltage regardless of the battery's status.
