This is a compact pre-soldered 8x 7-segment display! Perfect for building a clock that shows time and date or whatever your heart desires!

It uses the MAX7219 chip, which has all kinds of Arduino example code available. There are also CircuitPython drivers available for this chip. You can also install the built-in Arduino MAX7219 drivers, which include some handy example code. These work best at 5 volts.

The PCB is 82 mm long by 15 mm wide, and the displays together are about 60 mm by 13 mm.

Included are standard straight header pins and 90-degree angled pins, which are quite handy.
