The Velleman VTSS4N soldering station offers excellent value for money and is perfect for various soldering tasks. NOTE: For optimal performance and to prevent the solder from no longer melting, start at the lowest temperature the first time you use it. Let the soldering station sit at this temperature for about 4 minutes. Then increase the temperature by about 50 °C and let it sit for about 1.5 minutes. Repeat this until you reach the desired temperature (usually around 350 °C). In between, check if the solder melts on the tip for better tinning and a smoother soldering experience.
