Light barrier Sensor Module - 10mm (OT3684)

The FC-33 Light Barrier Sensor Module is a sensor used to detect the presence of objects by means of a light beam. The sensor consists of a transmitter and receiver module, each equipped with an LED and a phototransistor.
The transmitter module sends out a light beam, while the receiver module detects the light reflected from the object. When there is no object, the light beam is directed directly to the receiver module and the output remains inactive. But when an object is present and interrupts the light beam, the sensor output is activated.
For example, this module is used to measure the rotation speed with a disk with slots in it. But also on a 3D printer as an end stop sensor.
Detection part is 10mm wide.
The module has 3 pins that are listed on the module: - VCC (3.3V to 5V) - GND (earth/min/ground) - OUT (indicates whether the light barrier is open or closed)
Current consumption: approx. 15mA
